Such a timely post – I am writing about Business Luck – and start by asking

‘Why do some people have business luck and lead happy successful lives while others face repeated failure?’

And after giving ideas of where luck comes from and what it is – I state: always know the reality is – that parts of finding your business luck, building your dream business, will be difficult and will raise issues about yourself.

And, it is the same in life. Some of us find our paths quickly, stray, go back, and work at staying on course over time.

What a great post you have here.

And, I am grateful that you noticed one of my own posts and commented, thank you so much.

A truly thought-provoking post, Buddy! You make us ponder about the important stuff in life. I have made so many poor choices in life and taken so many wrong turns, they could fill a whole book. And indeed they have! Consequences of these choices are with me even today. But that goes all of us, doesn’t it?

There was a time when I regretted all my poor life choices. After plenty of introspection I realized that there are really no “right” or “wrong” choices. No mistakes. Just events that shape us. If it weren’t for all those “mistakes” I wouldn’t be who I am today: self-aware with a capacity to find simple contentment.

Thank you for your comment. Thirteen Days is one of my favorites, too.

It is a good example of the importance of channels of communication between real human beings. If the crisis had been left up to computers or robots, they may have blown up the world.

I agree with you that social sites provide serious leverage. Leverage is the basis of most major achievement.

You are in control of your destiny …. of course I am not George Bernard Shaw and I’m not on my death bed. I respect where he was coming from in 1925.

Wow I can relate to your experiences with Enough is Enough. Until reading this article the idea of search instead of filing was not on my radar screen. Your article lead me to read Michael Schrage’s article and the research that was done by IBM. Firefox is my primary browser and have added ReadLaterFast” add-on. Your Tip for Getting More Organized: Don’t is what I call a golden nugget.

Hi Buddy – first time to your site, great information! I so relate to this article and the whole info overload issue. I have to do a lot of research for my writing which could easily overwhelm me if I let it, but what seems to work really well is Google alerts for my keywords and then just having new articles go directly into assigned folders. I’m going to check out your plugin recommendation because that sounds really helpful. Thanks!
